Vegan Cinnamon Coconut Latte
Ingredients:
- ½ cup coconut milk (our favorite brand is Native Forest canned Organic Coconut milk)
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- 1 ½ cups of oat milk
- Dash of cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp vanilla extract (We recommend Frontier Organic)
Optional:
- Crushed pistachios for garnish
- Add cacao nibs for an extra crunch
Instructions: Heat mixture on stove-top. Bring to a rumbling boil. Reduce to simmer and mix. In five minutes, add 1 ½ cup of oat milk + vanilla extract and whisk in slowly. Remove from heat and enjoy.
Modification: If you don’t have vanilla extract, use a sweetened creamer of choice or agave.
Bonus tip: Serve it over espresso or coffee or our favorite coffee alternative Teecino. Top with crushed pistachios + cacao nibs.
5 Minute Vegan Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate
We don’t know one person who doesn’t love hot chocolate. Not only is this version of hot cocoa vegan, but it’s also guilt-free and insanely healthy. It might just become your dessert every night!
Ingredients:
- Boiling water or very hot plant milk of your choice
- 1 tbsp of cacao powder (We love Navitas)
- ½ tsp ashwagandha (The perfect way to measure is by opening up a capsule.)
- 1 tsp reishi mushroom powder
- 1 tsp maca
- 1 tsp coconut butter
- Sweetener of choice or creamer
- Add cinnamon to taste (optional–We love Saigon organic cinnamon)
Directions: Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Then, blend for one minute until frothy. It’s best when served immediately. If you want it hotter, heat on stovetop or heat leftovers.
We like to pair it with our favorite Olyra biscuits for a satiating and healthy dessert.
