We don’t know one person who doesn’t love hot chocolate. Not only is this version of hot cocoa vegan, but it’s also guilt-free and insanely healthy. It might just become your dessert every night!

  • Boiling water or very hot plant milk of your choice
  • 1 tbsp of cacao powder (We love Navitas)
  • ½ tsp ashwagandha (The perfect way to measure is by opening up a capsule.)
  • 1 tsp reishi mushroom powder
  • 1 tsp maca
  • 1 tsp coconut butter
  • Sweetener of choice or creamer
  • Add cinnamon to taste (optional–We love Saigon organic cinnamon)

Directions: Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Then, blend for one minute until frothy. It’s best when served immediately. If you want it hotter, heat on stovetop or heat leftovers.

We like to pair it with our favorite Olyra biscuits for a satiating and healthy dessert.

Golden milk originates from Ancient Ayurvedic practices. It uses turmeric as its main ingredient! There are proven health benefits of turmeric. It prevents arthritis and joint pain among other things.

  • 1 ½ cup canned full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 ½ cup unsweetened plant milk of choice
  • 1 ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp ginger root powder
  • 1 cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional) (Our favorite is Better Body Foods coconut oil–organic and cold pressed.)
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper (This enhances the anti-inflammatory properties of the beverage.)
  • Sweetener of choice (We like maple syrup, coconut sugar, monk fruit sweetener, etc.)

Add your ingredients to a saucepan and whisk. Warm over medium-heat about 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
