WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GO VEGAN?
Health was declining, my instincts said to get back to basics. I became vegan in 2013. In the first month, my life improved so much I never looked back.

I started Jackfruit Cafe to share what help me. I wanted everyone to feel this good.

Jackfruit Cafe is a vegan eatery specializing in the world’s largest tree fruit, jackfruit.
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?
I’m all passion and talent. I know God gave me what I have to share so it keeps me going.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE WITH HAVING A VEGAN COMPANY?
Explaining to others that they don’t need meat.
HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THIS CHALLENGE?
I haven’t yet it’s an up hill battle but with Corona Virus people are looking for answers.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR JACKFRUIT CAFE, LLC?
We are a ghost kitchen meaning you don’t see us and the food is delivered by a concierge. We love to be in facilities like this around the country.
WHAT WOULD YOU TELL AN ASPIRING VEGAN BUSINESS OWNER/ENTREPRENEUR?
Hang in there, our time is coming and with Corona it will be sooner than later.
WHAT WAS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE CLIENT EXPERIENCE?
That is a tough one because I’ve had some great ones. A woman with two toes left from diabetes went vegan, a young lady on dialysis reversing kidney failure. Stevie Wonder came once and ordered six Impossible Burgers…
